In 1983, John Carl Warnecke founded a nonprofit called the Warnecke Institute, Inc, a public benefit corporation formed exclusively to promote the education and advancement of design, art and architecture. The Warnecke Family has now established the Chalk Hill Artists Residency, in honor of his original vision.
Chalk Hill Artists Residency is a registered 501 (c) 3. Members of the Warnecke family serve on its Board of Directors. A Board of Advisors assists the Board in overseeing the operation and management of the Residency.
